Hydrosols, also known as botanical distillates, plant or floral water, are essentially the same property as in the host essential oil, except in a less concentrated form, which makes them more versatile for several other uses where essential oils might be too strong.
What goes into a hydrosol is much the same as an essential oil, except that the natural materials and oils are distilled in steam and the steam is corralled in a separate vessel from the distiller.
Some hydrosols are by-products of essential oil production, but some (like our products) are made from distillers with the specific purpose of creating hydrosols. This makes those hydrosols of a much better quality than those created as a result of essential oil production.
The simplest Aromatherapy, they are already in a diluted state making them perfect for immediate skin application, spraying onto bedding or clothing, incorporating into food or drink.
Check out our varieties of hydrosols for you to consider for your next aromatherapy treatment when you are looking for something a little more mild than an essential oil, but if you're in need of the same therapeutic results.
